Setting the Christmas Tablescape with Brooks Brothers

I use each Holiday as an excuse to decorate my table to the nines but none is more exciting to decorate than the Christmas table. I have always loved how the gold flatware reflected the overhead lights like little glimmering lights dancing on the tabletop and had dreamed about having layers of tartan plates to stack in neat piles for my guests. This year, Brooks Brothers is helping me decorate the table for Christmas and we’re doing a little good in the mix!

When I set a table, I love using a lot of layers and mixing metals. The gold accents on the Tartan plates are the perfect metals to mix with my silver flatware and some vintage glasses. Adding a few leaves of green runner make the table less rigid and appeals to a casual crowd as well. The plates would be fun to mix with different holiday patterned plates for a unique and pattern-filled festive table.

Besides having beautiful bone China tartan plates for the Holidays, Brooks Brothers also whips up a fantastic Panettone cake benefitting St. Jude and delivers it in a stunning, commemorative tin. The tin reminds me of old tins my mom used to keep around for the Holidays, typically stuffed with chocolates and painted with festive nutcrackers and Holiday scenes.

Instead of the Holiday scene on my vintage tins, this commemorative tin that Brooks Brothers designed has an array of iconic styles that Brooks Brothers released since they started operations in 1818 and instead of the Holiday chocolates, this one is stuffed with the most delicious Panettone you’ll ever eat. If you haven’t had Panettone, this is a good one to cut your teeth on as it’s one of the moistest and flavorful Holiday cakes I’ve had. The best thing about this tin is that for every one purchased, Brooks Brothers will donate $5 to St. Jude

As you’re looking for Hostess gifts this Holiday season, this Panettone Tin is a show-stopping gift to bring to your next Holiday party.
