While it may not be officially summer, the temperature is creeping into summer territory so summery outings are in full demand on my end. After lunch at the new Brine Seafood in Avalon, we decided to pop over to the new Jeni’s for a cool afternoon treat.

It was a blistering morning when we went to grab lunch at the Avalon and peering through the large windows at Brine I noticed that Jeni’s was garnering a line and tugging at my tastebuds at the same time. The first time I had Jeni’s I remember how decadent the Goat Cheese and Cherry had been, and it was love at first bite afterward. Sadly, I haven’t seen Goat Cheese and Cherry pop up on its menu in some time. The location in Westside always being out, and the Krog street location too crowded to even attempt ice cream.
However as fate would have it, that day Goat Cheese and Cherry had found its way back into my life. If you love something, let it go as they say, and thankfully it didn’t disappoint and came back to me. This time it came with a new obsession: Chardonnay Chamomile. A perfect combination easily enjoyed on that warm afternoon.
You may have remembered when I went to the North Georgia Outlets a few weeks ago and I picked up this Joie blouse. I always enjoy heading out of the city and going to the Outlets to do a little guilt-free shopping. They have some of the best collection of designer brands and Tory Burch is scheduled to open this summer! I love that I’m always getting current fashion trends at these outlets, I never run out of selections or stores to shop from, and I am a sucker for saving a ton at the same time.
