Cherry Blow Dry Bar

I love how much Atlanta has been changing. It’s like we finally escaped those awkward teenage years and stopped copying our older siblings (NYC) and started paving our own way into adulthood. We’re getting new and more sophisticated things all the time: restaurants, high-end shopping retailers, and a plethora of blow out bars that leave your tresses smelling and feeling like a 5th Avenue Celebrity salon.

Naturally, when Cherry Blow Dry Bar opened this past weekend I just had to pop in to get a taste of their treatments!

Located right next to Storico Fresco in the updated shopping center on Peachtree Road and Grandview Ave, Cherry Blow Dry Bar offers a sleek new way to tame your mane. Their store is inviting and bright with plush red leather chairs waiting to be filled to start the tress-transforming process.

After a thorough washing and drying, my stylist got to work on the style I had chosen: tight curls that framed my face. Atlanta was experiencing warmer than normal weather and we were expecting some humidity and a high of 75 so I knew that as the day went on, the tight curls would fall into looser ringlets.
Cherry Blow Dry BarI really enjoyed how tender of a touch my stylist had.  I also appreciated that she was willing to tie up my hair for me with some black ribbon I had brought along. It really put a polishing touch on the final look.

It was a nice and relaxing hour getting treated at Cherry Blow Dry Bar. My curls lasted me for a couple of days afterward and the products didn’t weigh my hair down which was an added bonus. I would definitely come here again, and then pop over to Storico Fresco for a delicious Italian meal.
