Do you ever find yourself frustrated with your closet? It’s like you constantly have an abundance of clothes to choose from, but there are certain pieces you gravitate towards on a weekly basis. I’ve noticed I do this all the time. My color palate revolves around blues and whites, so it’s no surprise when Cuddy Studios reached out to me, I instantly started looking up blue and white colored clothing.
When it comes to clothing I like to keep it simple and classic. I love starting with a good basic (nice jeans, casual top) and then layering feminine pieces from there. Sometimes, I don’t need to add a layer because the top speaks for itself.
This white blouse from Cuddy Studios is the perfect “trendy” piece to branch out to. I like that it has a geometric pattern on the fabric and the tie neck adds a touch of femininity and subtle sexiness. It’s been great to wear to work with my favorite JCrew Martie pants, and dressy enough for rooftop drinks at a nearby hotel.
Not to mention, but the rose gold Melrose Daniel Wellington watch adds just the touch of sophistication to this otherwise casual weekend outfit. If you haven’t seen the new Melrose collection from DW, I highly recommend that you pop over and take a look! You can choose between a silver and rose gold band with a white or black face. I went with the white face since that matches my color palate, but the black is very chic and I might have to back for another one sometime in the future. I can easily see myself repeating this outfit quite a bit this spring as the South transitions from cool breezed mornings to warm afternoons.
