Tom Collins Twist

When it comes to tailgating, there are a couple of ways to ensure your guests are well taken care of. In the Guide to Tailgating, I listed out what to serve, what to wear and how to style it all, but when it comes to drinks, you can go above and beyond the typical bucket of brews by offering your guests some pre-made cocktails in a reusable drink pouch. This particular pouch features a Tom Collins Twist. I like a Tom Collins as a base cocktail because it’s refreshing and flavorful but not so overpowering where it wouldn’t be able to pair with your tailgating menu- then added a little twist to make it unique for our tailgate.

First, these reusable drink pouches are great and a fantastic hostess/ host time saver. You can whip up a large batch of Tom Collin’s Twist (or whatever cocktail you have on hand) and then equally parse them out into personal drink bags leaving room to top it off with ice for when you need to serve it at your tailgate. To keep it fun, each drink is served with a silly straw that easily sticks in through the top.

The best thing about these drinks is that mess is minimal and clean up is a sinch. No need to worry about someone spilling a cup of whatever they’re drinking on a table or all over themselves. These adult Capri Suns are the perfect things to serve at your next tailgate.
