Floral Blouse

It’s funny, isn’t it? Constantly being conflicted with fitting in with the crowd but then wanting to stand out against your friends in social situations. There’s a calling inside of all of us to want to be accepted for what we wear as well as looking unique and true to our personality. And as much as I try to adopt the black and monochrome color schemes of my social circle to my wardrobe, nothing speaks more to me than a punchy print and a pop of color.

Thankfully, with the arrival of Spring we can all start shaking out those floral blouses and ironing the wrinkles out of our white jeans in preparation for the warmer weather ahead – pay no mind that last week we were in the 40’s in Atlanta… This week it’s been a high of 75, windows down on the highway, rooftop reading kind of weather that has been electrifying the city and waking the slumbering souls from their foggy February daze.

If there is one thing to invest in this Spring I would wager to say that it would be a punchy trench coat, much like this one from Ann Taylor. With it’s thick lining and weatherproof outer shell, it will carry you from corporate to cocktails and can be worn all throughout summer as a topper for that little white dress you plan on getting a spray tan for this month.
