I have long been a fan of a good sweater dress for the colder months. However, over the past few years, I felt like Goldie Locks trying to find a new one: this one’s too long, this one’s too short, this one’s too thin, and this one’s color is not quite right. That is until I found this sweater dress that was just the mix of classic and fashionable with nice quality weave to it that will keep you warm throughout the colder months.
I wore this dress out exploring in Savannah the other weekend and it was the perfect dress for our morning adventure. We walked all over the historic district and had brunch at Collins Quarter for my favorite Avocado Toast in the world, then grabbed a coffee to go at the Mirabelle and dipped in and out of the shops on Broughton.
I am planning on bringing this dress with me to Charleston when we head there for the Garden & Gun Jubilee next weekend and wore it for Thanksgiving this year in Ohio. It’s already gotten tons of wear out of it. I love that the hem is long enough to wear to the office, for this reason, I foresee it getting a lot more use as we move through winter. To dress it up for a Christmas Party, I want to pair this with a pair of velvet block heels and maybe put my hair half back with a velvet bow beret.
