I have long been a fan of candles. Nothing warms up a cold winter’s night quite like the soft glow and the sweet scent of a quality candle.
I was at Ponce City Market the other week walking through Citizen Supply – an artisan to consumer working mercantile shop above the food hall – when I found Lindbergh Candle Co.

I was immediately drawn to the front table of candles, and one in particular I knew I had to take a whiff of: Lumberjack. It was like waking up in a log cabin by the sweet scent of syrup covered pancakes cooked by a handsome but rugged guy who just finished chopping wood for the fire that was burning in the log stove and he had the faint scent of tobacco lingering on his skin from the cigar he smoked last night.
Heaven.
It was at that moment I was hooked. I quickly bought their stock of Lumberjack and high tailed it home, ready to burn my candle and fill my apartment with that delicious
memory scent.
I love candles. Well strike that. I love quality candles. Ones that burn for weeks and fill your senses with the best fragrances. I make it a habit to buy a candle everywhere I travel so that I can have a souvenir that serves a purpose when I get home. One of my favorite experiences was in Charleston last summer and Anacapri last Fall.

At home though, nothing beats Lindbergh Candle Co. Not only are their scents unique, but 10% of the proceeds go to St. Jude. These have to be the best burning candles I’ve ever purchased, and for their price to quality ratio, I say it has a very good return on investment.
Everyone is getting one of these from me for Christmas, sorry for ruining the surprise but they’re just too good to keep to myself.
Check out Lindbergh Candle Co online or at Citizen Supply in PCM. You’re definitely going to want to fill your basket with Lumberjack, maybe add in a Cabin scented one as well if you’re a chai tea lover.
The packaging is super pretty!
