It’s the most humid time of year. The time when the weather is screaming for you to grab a cool glass of iced tea. Here in the south, that means you’re probably reaching for sweet iced tea, and if you’re in the know, you’re reaching for Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea. If there is ever a time when I need reliably delicious iced tea, I always reach for Milo’s. You can find their products in the refrigerated section of your local supermarket. It’s just like homemade, but better!

Milo’s beverages are all-natural and contain no preservatives or added colors. Brewed fresh from real tea leaves with a simple ingredient list, Milo’s Tea is available sweetened with pure cane sugar, zero-calorie sweetened with sucralose, or unsweet.

One of my favorite culinary delights that I discovered while traveling to Beaufort, SC was a sweet tea float. Like a classic root beer float but better with a subtle jolt of caffeine and a massive scoop of fruit-flavored sorbet on top. This recipe is inspired by that addicting first sip of sweet tea slowly melting with peach sorbet, perfect for the hot weekends we have ahead of us.

Now if you want to get extra culinary on this you can make your own peach sorbet (or go for a creamy version and make our homemade peach iced cream) and add it to a big glass of Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea. I decided to go for a super simple pre-made quality sorbet from the supermarket, a quarter turn away from the refrigerated drink section where I find Milo’s.

Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea label just got a refresh but their recipe did not. It still only has three easy to pronounce simple ingredients: freshly brewed tea, filtered water, and pure cane sugar, and the quality is consistently perfect in every sip. It’s my favorite sweet tea and I loved bringing it home to recreate this sweet tea float.

I think you’re really going to like this summer combo of tea and peach sorbet! Don’t blame me if you find yourself reaching for more than one glass in a sitting. Well okay, I’ll take the blame, but happy to do so because I know you’ll enjoy it all summer long!
