The weather we had this past weekend had me lost in a daze walking down the beltline, anxiously awaiting the return of full gingham outfits and Saturday mimosa brunches that drift into rose patio hopping. Since I feel it’s never too early to stock up on Summer essentials, I thought it would be fun to put together a list of my spring must have print: gingham! Plus I’ve got a little peek at a video I worked on with KalaPhoto a while ago (that was lost to Google Drive until recently!) at the bottom of this post.
ONE || TWO || THREE || FOUR (under $60) || FIVE || SIX || SEVEN || EIGHT || NINE
I sincerely love gingham, it’s a closet staple and always puts me in a sunny mood. I really love this red off the shoulder gingham top and think it would be fun for a 4th of July backyard party! This yellow gingham dress would be so beautiful for Easter, this pink gingham one shoulder is just the right mix of trendy and country, and I’m thinking these gingham shoes would be such a fun statement when you’re wearing just a pair of shorts and a white v neck tee.
See how I style Gingham over here in this post.
I love preparing for the next season’s wardrobes by shopping when items are on sale. ShopBop is having their buy-more-save-more event where with GOBIG18 you can get up to 25% off. Which means this tea-length gingham dress is $70 off, this gingham skirt is almost $20 off and then when you squeeze over to the designer section you can almost just convince yourself to buy the flats you’ve been lusting after for four years.
I’m also a fan of the different colors gingham comes in, makes it easy for everyone to adapt the pattern to their wardrobes personal color palette.
Hope you enjoy the quick video of me in this Eliza J Dress from last summer! We took this at the Swan House in Atlanta. You can see the original post here.
