The No-Fuss Fall Brunch Buffet

Thank you NANCY’S Petite Stuffed Bagels for sponsoring this post. Brunching at home just got easier and more delicious with the launch of NANCY’S Petite Stuffed Bagels!

It’s fun to start new traditions during the Holidays. I think one of my favorite traditions I’ve put together is having friends over during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and cook them brunch while we all lounge in our pajamas, drink mimosas, and act like kids as we watch the floats zoom by in the TV. It’s almost like we’re there, but without being freezing cold and stuck in a crowd of a million people.

Personally, I prefer my way.

This year, in an effort to make a party out of my tradition, I figured let’s extend the invite to more than just two or three close friends but have a slew of people over on one caveat: pajamas required, house slippers are the only acceptable footwear to be worn on your feet- that is of course if you don’t go full-on onesie. Which means that my brunch menu had to extend beyond just a couple of nibbly girls to feed a few voracious fellas, so I started drafting a brunch buffet menu.

On this menu, I would be remiss to not include my signature Quiche, along with some fruit for the health conscious, but I needed more. Waffles are a little messy (and I don’t trust people with syrup on my white couch), and avocado toast, while close to my heart, is too much fuss for a no fuss occasion. I started thinking maybe some sort of frozen puff pastry sweet thing would be good which is exactly where I discovered NANCY’S Pumpkin Petite Stuffed Bagels.

The ambivalent girl in me was torn about jumping for joy for one more pumpkin flavored thing for fall and questioning whether the men would like these little stuffed pastries as well. Pumpkin flavoring won out in the end and into the shopping cart they went! I needed easy and delicious food items to serve my crowd, and as my Grandma has said “There are two items on the menu for dinner (or brunch in this case): take it or leave it.” Precisely my feelings Grandma! Plus, I want at least ten more excuses to eat pumpkin spice this season so I wasn’t going to let some potential pumpkin nay-sayers from derailing my pumpkin prerogative! I appreciated that these are made with top quality real ingredients like butter, flour, milk, eggs, fresh produce, herbs and premium cheeses. If pumpkin isn’t your jam, there are also three other flavors filled with PHILADELPHIA cream cheese: Original, Jalapeño and Apple Cinnamon.

When it came time to prepare the bagels, it was so great to be able to throw them in the oven while my quiche finished baking and pull everything out at the same time. These bite-size bagels were ready to eat in minutes after a quick trip in the oven, they were the perfect no stress appetizer for my brunch. As I pulled them from the oven, the kitchen begun to fill with the best pumpkin spiced aromas, drawing everyone in from the TV into the kitchen, ready to get their hands on the delicious brunch. NANCY’S Pumpkin Petite Stuffed Bagels were ready in minutes, and happily can say they were devoured even faster!

I guess in the end, they were a hit with my friends after all!
