I think one of my favorite candies in the entire world has to be an Almond Joy. Something about the rich creamy coconut filling makes my tastebuds start to salivate every time I think about it. I could actually do without the chocolate on it, and would be fine with it just being a pure coconut candy.

Lemon Curd Recipe
There’s no shortage of love for lemons in my book. If I could, every meal would have the brightness of a freshly squeezed lemon added to it. I have always loved the zestiness of lemon and it’s worked it’s way into my favorite cocktails, salad dressings, and desserts. I decided to whip up this easy

Peppercorn Carrot Cake with Drunken Golden Raisins & Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting
Carrot cake is one of those “every season” desserts. Its spiced cake is reminiscent of Fall and Winter, but the brightness of carrots adds that freshness we crave for the warmer months. Almost everyone seems to have a different carrot cake recipe, and as far as cakes go, it’s decently foolproof. I’ve added a couple

Orangettes: Candied Orange Peel
The first time I had Orangettes it was during my study abroad in Paris. Our hotel was situated above a candy store whose delectable chocolate air wafted up through our open windows every day. On the occasion that I finally wandered in there, the clerk assured me I had to sample their signature chocolate candy:

Orange Cinnamon Sticky Buns with a Pecan Citrus Glaze
It finally happened. I finally found myself with enough time and just the inspiration to make cinnamon rolls from scratch. Now, as far as breakfast pastries go, cinnamon rolls aren’t the most difficult thing to whip up ingredient wise but they do require a lot of time. However, these orange cinnamon sticky buns were worth

Bourbon Spiced Pear Tart with Cardamom Vanilla Ice Cream
I don’t know what came over me but this year I had one must-make item on my Thanksgiving Menu and that was a pear tart for dessert. I have made countless pies and galettes this summer, but I’ve been craving puff pastry goodness smothered with fruit and a tart just seemed like the easiest compromise

Pumpkin Apple Muffins
Delicious. That is how I would characterize every Fall food out there. All of the food flavors are comforting and served with a pat of butter. Much like these muffins- full of pumpkin spice flavor, a couple of pats (or 1/2 cup) of butter, and teeming with flavor. They might not be the lightest, but
